ONEHOPE Wines recently tapped San Francisco-based creative agency Erich & Kallman, founded by veteran creative director Eric Kallman and former president of Crispin Porter + Bogusky Steven Erich, for their inaugural digital creative campaign, "Faircloth."  The almost-decade-old winery has had incredible success through social media and word of mouth, and they partnered with Erich & Kallman to communicate their socially aware message to a wider audience.

Agency Creative Director Eric Kallman said “We created an anti-hero that was able to make ONEHOPE and their philanthropic philosophy the true hero in this spot.”

This single-camera spot centers on a rich, uncaring winemaker, as he saunters through his vineyard flaunting ideals that directly oppose ONEHOPE’s support of charity with each bottle purchased. The Erich & Kallman-led creative uses humour (since, after all, it’s wine and is meant to be enjoyed), and communicates ONEHOPE’s message in a slightly contrarian way to show the brand’s spirit of fun, celebration, and altruism.

“Since most of our marketing dollars go toward donations to our nonprofit partners, it was important to find an agency that was able to efficiently deliver strong, concise creative,” stated Jake Kloberdanz at ONEHOPE. “We tapped the creative expertise of Erich & Kallman, and from their rich history of creating impactful content, we ended up with a spot we’re all proud of.”

Erich & Kallman hopes this campaign will drive awareness for ONEHOPE Wines and will help make the world a better place, one glass at a time. ONEHOPE has provided over one million meals for the hungry, planted over fifty thousand trees, and provided almost ten thousand people with clean drinking water, amongst other charitable acts that have helped almost one hundred thousand children live better lives.
