ODEON Appoints ASTP to Launch B2B Social Media Marketing Activity

Up-and-coming agency will boost social media presence of ODEON Business Events & Experiences

ODEON Cinemas is preparing to launch a fresh B2B social media strategy, supported by social media marketing agency ASTP.

The new drive will focus on boosting awareness of ODEON Business Events & Experiences – ODEON Cinema's B2B offering. This service of the UK-wide cinema chain offers businesses the opportunity to use ODEON cinemas as unique venues for conference and events. With 84 years of cinema experience, ODEON & UCI Cinemas is the largest cinema group in Europe. It operates 2187 screens at 238 sites across Europe as a whole, including 124 sites across the UK and Ireland. In addition to conferencing and event services – the focus of ODEON’s current work with ASTP - the cinema chain’s B2B offering also includes Bulk Ticket Vouchers, Electronic Gift Cards and Sponsorships. 

This is the first time ODEON Business Events & Experiences have ventured into the B2B social media marketing arena.

The strategy will harness the power of LinkedIn as an emerging platform for sharing and promoting B2B content. ASTP will work to distribute and promote engaging, pertinent content directly from ODEON to interested businesses and professional individuals.

Over the past 12 months LinkedIn's usefulness as a social network has soared. With ever-more nuanced options for both paid and organic content distribution now available, ASTP are confident of reaching the right people with carefully tailored content. Their team will use smart content distribution networks and LinkedIn's social advertising product to establish ODEON Business Events & Experiences as a thought leader in the corporate events sector.

ASTP business partners, Alex Packham and Noel Agyei, have close links to ODEON. Alex previously held a Social Media Executive role at the cinema chain, while Noel worked in the role of ODEON's Senior Sales Manager on a 12-month maternity contract. This unparalleled inside knowledge of the brand will help ASTP to achieve exposure for ODEON's B2B wing and to generate fresh leads for the company through digital marketing.
