NONO's Experimental Short Film Explores 'The Heartbeats of Memory'
Antiestatico director NONO has shot this ethereal experimental short documentary, 'The Heartbeats of Memory'.
Although, shot on 8mm in Japan, this film is not about Japan. It´s about memories and how we use them to actually forget. How we manipulate them, but also how we keep them with us, forever.
The film talks about the origin of the word 'Remember', that in Latin means literally: Return to the heart (Recordar/Remember: Re => Retornar/Return, Cor => Corazón/Heart).
And that's why the ancients believed the memories were stored in the heart. (For example, in English, we have the expression: "Learn by heart").
