Michael McCourt Joins JOJX for US Representation
A director with nuance, emotional depth and an editing background
Los Angeles-based production company JOJX has signed director Michael McCourt to its roster for exclusive commercial and music video representation in the U.S.
McCourt’s carefully crafted body of work is emotional, evocative, and richly authentic. Known for crafting complex narratives with great nuance and emotional depth, McCourt brings a sense of humanity to the JOJX roster as well as every project he helms. Recent major brand work includes projects for Bose, Buick, Spectrum, Budweiser and Crayola.

McCourt’s career in filmmaking began when he traveled to Southern California to began honing his skills while working in the fields of film, music video, commercials, and episodic television. He became actively involved in the editing process of filmmaking, expanding his hands-on approach and developing an eye for directing that approaches film from a comprehensive, ‘big-picture’ perspective. This background and his passion for storytelling create powerful pieces of film which completely immerse viewers in a visceral visual experience.
