McCann Worldgroup Appoints Anna Korving as President of McCann Health Northern Europe

McCann Health, one of the world’s most creatively awarded healthcare communications networks and part of McCann Worldgroup, today announced the appointment of Anna Korving to President, McCann Health Northern Europe, effective June 18th.

In this role, Ms. Korving, who will be based in London and be responsible for driving growth and cross-platform integration across McCann Health Northern Europe.

This strategic move, following the recent appointment of Effie Baoutis to President of McCann Health Western Europe and centres on building centres of excellence in close proximity to client organisations to provide them with higher levels of seamless service, integrated resources and a more diverse pool of talent.

Ms. Korving is a successful entrepreneur and business leader with experience in building and leading multi-agency communications groups. Most recently, she was Chair of Hanover Health, advising the business on growth, strategy and expansion. Previous to that Ms. Korving co-founded the agencies Resolute Communications London and New York, and sister brand Real Science Communications. The group was one of the most successful independent health communications businesses in Europe before being acquired by Publicis Health in 2010. Post-acquisition the business expanded to include the adverting firm Publicis Life Brands in the UK and offered full-service support to pharma and health focused clients. Subsequently, Ms. Korving served as EVP, Global Business Development (Europe and APAC) for Publicis Health. Ms. Korving has worked across disciplines including pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications and PR activities.
