Matt Tanter Joins Mother as Head of Strategy

Today, Mother announces a new addition to the family: Matt Tanter will be joining Mother later this summer as Head of Strategy.

Matt is a strategist that needs little introduction, he is widely respected and awarded, with multiple accolades for his work, more on that later. He joins Mother, currently Agency of the Year (or equivalent) for Campaign, Adage, More About Advertising, Creative Circle, Creativepool and The Drum, from Grey London where he is the Chief Strategy Officer and Chair of the APG. The role at Mother gives Matt the opportunity to be closer to doing what he does best: shepherding great work. 

Matt Tanter said: “It’s been an incredible six years at Grey. I’ve had the best time of my life. But the chance to work with the most creatively prolific and spirited crew in London, if not the world right now and be part of one of the best strategy teams around was simply too good to turn down. They are on fire. I can’t wait.”

This appointment of Matt broadens the talent base at Mother, enhancing the agency’s senior strategic leadership. His focus will be upon nurturing and growing the strategy discipline at Mother, while leveraging his breadth of brand, direct and digital experience to champion the best work possible on existing and new clients.

Reporting to Strategy Partners Chris Gallery and Katie Mackay-Sinclair, Tanter’s appointment enables the duo to focus even more on flagship business and growing the agency they love.
