Manners McDade's Catherine Manners Elected to the Music Publishers Association Board

Today, at the 2017 Music Publishers Association AGM, Catherine Manners of Manners McDade Music Publishing Ltd. is elected to the board of the UK MPA.

Manners McDade is a London-based music publisher, specialising in new classical and electronic music since 2001. Their roster includes Nils Frahm, Max Cooper, Federico Albanese, Throwing Snow and Christian Löffler, as well as Fabric’s Houndstooth catalogue (Akkord, Call Super, Paul Woolford’s Special Request).

Manners McDade's composer agency represents the very best UK Film and TV composers, the team also represent the entire Ghostly International roster for sync licensing; offer Creative Services in PR and Sync to international labels, as well as having recently launched their own label, Cognitive Shift Recordings.

Catherine obtained a BSc. in Music and Physics followed by a Masters in Music from Birmingham University. After gaining experience in the publishing, recording and live industries, she founded Manners McDade Artist Management in 2001 offering representation to Classical composers who were working in Film & Television.

In 2006, Catherine established Manners McDade Music Publishing which promptly gained a reputation as the primary independent publisher for composers of new classical music.

Catherine is a former cellist, a full voting member of BAFTA and was honoured on the Music Industry Alternative Power 100 List 2017.
