Mad Ruffian Says #SORRYNOTSORRY for UK's First Ever Reese's Campaign

ArnoldKLP launches fun-loving new spot created for millennials by millennials

Production/direction team, Mad Ruffian, has just launched the UK’s first ever campaign for America’s favorite chocolate, Reese’s.  

The campaign, which is now live, will run across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube throughout 2016 and is so #SORRYNOTSORRY (which also happens to be the campaign’s tagline.)  

Cunningly devised by the cool kids at creative agency ArnoldKLP and executed by Mad Ruffian, the campaign is for millennials by millennials (but let’s face it, we all love chocolate and peanut butter, regardless of how hip) and features a rowdy cast made up of actors and 'real people' alike, scarfing down Reese’s in adorably funny and rad ways (with casting by Plaster Cast London.)  

The team at Mad Ruffian, headed up by American-native, Amanda Jones, and Christopher Watson-Wood (who together produced and directed the campaign and started Mad Ruffian two years ago out of their Vauxhall studio) not only shot with iPhones, but commissioned their friends at Shoot the Mouse to compose an original track based on Cambodian garage music from the '70s.  

Mad Ruffian’s post division, Ruffian Post (a nominee at this past year’s UKMVA for Best Visual Effects), was responsible for the edit, grade and graphics.  When asked about the campaign, Jones said: “We are super stoked to have gotten a chance to play like this.  The entire shoot was a blast and we are grateful to Reese’s for allowing us to take the path less boring, and to ArnoldKLP for leading the way.”
