Coming off a year of record growth, a slew of top creative awards and global recognition, content agency Los York today announced the signing of award-winning director Jason Zada as a partner to its growing roster of talent. With a unique blend of multi-screen storytelling, Zada is a natural fit at Los York.

From a uniquely diverse range of projects that includes the 2016 feature film The Forest (starring Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer), the Emmy-award winning interactive Facebook Connect experience “Take This Lollipop”, among other digital and technology-forward projects, music videos and dozens of traditional commercials, Zada maintains an innovative and truly creative approach no matter the assignment.

Joining a non-traditional creative agency in Los York, Zada is looking to innovate once again and fully activate his array of cross-disciplined skill sets in Los York’s “Swiss Army Knife” model. As a pioneer in the ever-changing world of advertising, Los York provides a new breed of storytellers – talent that goes beyond the skill of traditional directing, possessing the ability to concept from scratch and execute across a broad range of disciplines - writing, photography, design, strategy and a range of technological applications.

Zada comments: “Los York is a next generation of content agency that’s really fostering a new class of storytellers/directors, supporting them in leading impressive campaigns from concept through production to final delivery. This new model creates incredibly integrated ideation and production that allows us all to do more. I am incredibly excited to welcome in a new wave of content creation with Los York.”

By way of background, Zada started the advertising agency EVB in 2000, which grew to a 65-person, world-renowned agency later acquired by Omnicom before moving into directing. As a commercial director, Zada helped Tool pioneer a new era and become one of the most awarded production companies. Zada has worked with Wieden+Kennedy, Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Leo Burnett, Grey, Saatchi & Saatchi, RPA and more.

Zada has presented at a variety of industry events including Cannes, South by Southwest, AICP and has been featured repeatedly as a top creative in industry publications, including being selected as one of Adweek's and Creativity’s Top 50 most influential creative personalities of 2012.
