Omnicom's Philippa Brown & MediaCom's Karen Blackett make the Progress 1000 Brand Builders list

Yesterday evening, the London Evening Standard published its eagerly awaited Progress 1000 list, this year in partnership with Citi, and supported by Berkeley Group.

The Progress 1000, now in its 10th year, is a prestigious celebration of the people whose influence across many spheres of London life is felt most keenly by those who live in the city. Many of those included in the list from the worlds of art, science, business, media, politics and technology gathered this evening at a glittering event at London’s iconic Science Museum.

This year, the list has a particular focus on the power of mathematics as a driving force behind much of modern London – in science and technology, but also in art, design and infrastructure.

Among the most influential brand builders are Philippa Brown, Chief Executive at Omnicom Media Group UK; Karen Blackett, Chairwoman at MediaCom UK and Sir John Hegarty, Co-founder, BBH.
