LBB and Covert Partner To Host the London Producers’ Lunch Every Quarter

It’s on! After a lot of fun, a good few tipples and a couple of hours of ‘very cathartic’ catch ups on the ups and downs of the production industry, Little Black Book (LBB) and full-service post production studio Covert are VERY excited to announce a continuation of their event partnership. So, back due to popular demand, we will be hosting the London production industry for lunch on a quarterly basis. 

The first event, which took place on Thursday March 28th at Prix Fixe on Dean Street, saw over 50 of the city’s top production talent convene for an afternoon in the vibrant heart of Soho. “We wanted to re-create a local version of the Global Producers Dinner that LBB runs at Cannes Lions,” explains LBB’s CEO and founder, Matt Cooper, “For the past couple of years it has been an opportunity for all attending to dig into the developments in the biz that are driving and changing the world of production right now. And a chance to connect with old friends and make some new ones over some nice grub.”

So, that’s exactly what happened. Producers from agencies, in-house agencies, production companies and post production companies were brought together for an afternoon of food, drinks and networking - paid for by the invaluable sponsorship of LBB’s partners, Covert.

“Despite working remotely, we know there's nothing better than bringing like-minded people together to connect over great food, great company and our great industry,” says Max Murphy, managing director and executive producer at Covert, “Our ability to connect and collaborate is what makes us unique, and being able to stake our support in this is a real privilege. If the decibels in the room were anything to go by, you could very easily tell it was an afternoon full of great people, atmosphere and conversation, making new friends and catching up with old ones.”

We can’t wait to open it up to more of the UK production community over the next nine months - but you may need to fight the first group of producers for a seat to the next one!”
