Earlier this year, Japanese agency Tugboat launched a noir-ish campaign to coax the country’s car-shy younger generation behind the wheel for Toyota. The result was the surreal ‘Tale of H.H.’, directed by Kosai Sekine. A quirky double-hander, it saw a young man on an adventure through rain-battered streets and was designed to show off both sides of the elegany-yet-rugged Hybrid Harrier.
Now Kosai is back with a new instalment of ‘The Story of H.H.’ – and this time his adventure took him from craggy coastal Ireland to mysterious Shanghai. This time the films come together to create a love story that combines innocence and darkness. The films can be viewed separately or side by side, creating an almost stereoscopic effect.

Kosai is represented by Stink in the UK, France, Germany and China - and by Stink Digital in New York.
