In two hours one sunny Friday afternoon, the Kitcatt
creative department grabbed the attention of Red Bull, Hungry House and
Giraffe. How?
It was all part of the agency’s first Wine&Vine social
challenge. After choosing a plastic zoo animal from a lucky dip – each player
had two hours to choose a brand, have an idea, make a vine, upload and promote
it.
Work was created for brands including Rough Trade, ASOS, Go Ape, Sblended, Durex, National Geographic and Magnum.
The quick-fire challenge was designed to celebrate Vine’s immediacy and spontaneity. Inspired by the work of many of the most celebrated Viners (the top 100 are individuals – not one brand among them) – Kitcatt Nohr set out to see what they could do in six seconds.
Before long, a rhino was searching Shoreditch for condoms, a gibbon had sprouted wings and flown from the Truman Brewery in London, and a cow had found its way to Spitalfields City Farm.
