John Lewis a walk in the park for Nice Biscuits

Nice Biscuits has post produced the beautiful new John Lewis on-line campaign directed by acclaimed photographer/director Tom Craig for Adam&Eve DDB

 

The campaign is to launch the first ‘Somerset’ by Alice Temperley collection at John Lewis and stars the model Lily Donaldson and her sister Aurelia. Tom Craig was inspired by the ‘country meets city mood’ of the collection for his film.

 

The action starts with Lily getting ready to meet her sister, she reminisces about when they were younger. The film cuts to super 8 footage of the models as young girls wearing mum’s high heels and hat. Then Lily and her sister meet up on Hampstead Heath for a walk.

 

Nice Biscuits colourist Martin Southworth graded the subtle light featured in the film to enhance the autumnal mood. VFX artist Pete Young created the Super 8 footage by adding an authentic grainy look to the shots of the young girls. He also composited a whole new London skyline into the end shot.
