The campaign, created by Joan Creative, gamifies the summer shopping experience
Joan Creative is launching a new campaign for client Jet.com on Monday. With Cannes next week, we thought we’d share this a little early though all campaign elements will be live on the 19th.
Jet.com has launched its Summer HQ, which is the best place to get everything you need for the summer. To celebrate, they’re also launching an interactive, digital scavenger hunt called the URLs of Summer.
The campaign, created by Joan, gamifies the summer shopping experience. Through the Jet.com website, shoppers will be directed to Jet.com/URLsOfSummer where they will be presented with images of summer-related products (think beach umbrellas and sunglasses) and challenged to guess each unique URL that might correlate with that basket of items. If they are the first to guess correctly, they win a full shopping cart for free, pre-filled with the items shown in the correctly guessed image.
Jet.com produced 100 URLs that each describe different summer items. Shoppers will have the chance to win anything from sunscreen to a BBQ grill, or even a diamond necklace.
The campaign launches on June 19 and goes until July 14 in various digital channels.
