Isobel Summer School Gives Young Creatives Real Experience
Two teams of post GCSE students took on the isobel Summer School Challenge
In light of the recent unfortunate events in London, they were given a brief to attract young people across the country to visit the capital. The summer school has been running for 10 years at the agency. It’s a chance for younger generations to get hands on experience of the Advertising industry.
Throughout the week, they talk to heads of department and are given an insight into strategy, creative, account management and graphic design. Then they pitch their campaigns to a panel of judges (clients) just like they would in the real world.
This year the judges included Deputy London Mayor Joanne McCartney, senior marketing officer at the Greater London Authority Jessica Feeney, and Steve Hastings, planning partner at isobel.
The winning creative, #LondonersEyes, will run outdoors in Birmingham, Glasgow and Bristol.
