Helsinki-based creative brand house SEK won four awards in this year’s prestigious SABRE Awards communications competition. One of SEK’s entries, Romani rejection letters for Diak's Romako project, was chosen as the fourth best entry in the entire EMEA region. The agency also received three other honourable mentions.
“This is the best result in SEK's history in this top-level international competition,” said Tiina Hosiokoski, business director, communications, SEK. “Our winning entries reflect our absolute strengths: the ability and courage to take a stand on socially sensitive issues and build internationally significant phenomena. Congratulations to all the winning teams!”
The SABRE Awards EMEA is an international competition that annually rewards the best communication work from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The competition assesses strategic planning, creativity, courage, and results, among other criteria. The In2 SABRE Awards is the competition’s little sister focusing on the quality of content. The winners are selected from more than 2000 entries.
In 2023, SEK won three SABRE awards in the categories of technology, virtual events, and digital marketing. The Helsinki-based creative house has 130 professionals in marketing, advertising, communications, design, and analytics. SEK was also named Communications Agency of the Year in the 2023 national communications competition, the Finnish Comms Awards.
