Ignite Social Media Promotes Debbie DeSantis to SVP of Finance

Ignite Social Media, known for its prowess in the social realm, recently promoted longtime VP of Finance, Debbie DeSantis, to SVP of Finance on the heels of its 10-year anniversary. The company helped create the social media marketing industry through its well-regarded thought leadership, and was named worldwide Social Media Agency of the Year in 2016 by the Incite Group - Corporate Social Media Awards.

“Since day one, we’ve helped the world’s most valuable brands set their social media strategy, execute and measure results,” said Deidre Bounds, President. “Debbie has been an integral part of our team, and we’re thrilled to announce her new expanded role.”

DeSantis has two decades of experience in accounting, and leads Ignite Social Media’s finance team. Her new role has enabled her to become more involved with the strategic direction for the agency, helping to map out the company’s future with regard to everything from financial forecasting to human resources. DeSantis was previously a Partner at Ignite Social Media’s sister company, Brogan & Partners, before coming on board with Ignite in 2013.

Prior to that, she worked at BDO Seidman as a Certified Public Accountant. She helped lead teams in their support of 20-plus companies as they automated their accounting systems. She also served as a member of their forensic accounting team.
