Taeko brings more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources

In order to effectively drive talent strategies that shape stimulating culture and support strategic objectives and goals of the company, Geometry Ogilvy Japan has created the role of Chief Talent Officer, and is pleased to announce that Taeko Toshima has joined its leadership team. While the company operates two independent brands in Geometry and Ogilvy, it has created an integrated management and operating structure in order to better provide clients with fully integrated solutions in Japan. 

Taeko brings more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources, with an emphasis on Talent & Organization Development as well as Change Management. Previously, Taeko served as HR Manager of Laerdal Medical Asia Pacific, one of the world's leading providers of healthcare solutions. At Laerdal Medical, Taeko led its regional HR initiatives and also oversaw HR & General Affairs of Laerdal Medical Japan. Prior to Laerdal Medical, she held key roles with well-known organizations such as CHANEL K.K. and GE.

Commenting on her appointment, Ichiro Ota, CEO of Geometry Ogilvy Japan said, “Creating a culture that attracts, retains and motivates talented staff is a key focus for us. Taeko is a highly respected and experienced HR professional with a proven record of implementing a holistic talent strategy. We look forward to integrating her perspective and experience into our company strategy to enhance the employee experience.”

Taeko will be responsible for developing and implementing talent strategy aligned with corporate values. She will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and report to Ichiro Ota, CEO of Geometry Ogilvy Japan.
