FCB Toronto’s Nancy Crimi Lamanna is the latest juror to be announced for this year’s Immortal Awards, the free-to-enter advertising award for all Little Black Book members.
Nancy accidentally became one of the first interns in Canada when she offered copywriting services free of charge over 25 years ago. She ended up becoming a salaried employee and worked at a variety of different companies, ranging from small independents to large multinationals, where she used her award winning creative expertise to create some of Canada’s most recognized campaigns.
For her innovative work, she has been named among the top 10 Creative Directors in Canada. Over the years, she has accumulated many awards for her work including the Cannes Lions, D&AD, London International Awards, CLIOs, Effies, and One Show.
Nancy has contributed heavily towards FCB Toronto being named Digital Agency of the Year for three years in a row, as well as being the most awarded Canadian agency at Cannes two years in a row. Other achievements include Nancy bringing home Canada’s first Integrated Lion for her Ministry of Health Social Smoking campaign and creating the most awarded Canadian campaign at Cannes in 2017.
She was recently chosen as one of 33 Brand Stars that are shaping Toronto as a creative center. In addition, she’s an inaugural member of the Times Up Advertising movement and she has also committed FCB to #FreetheBid, an effort to hire more female directors.
