Every Burger Fan’s Fantasy Is Realised with McDonald's Picnic Position Blanket

It’s summer and, therefore, picnic season. To celebrate the sun and the love of burgers, McDonald’s Sweden, McDelivery, and Nord DDB have unveiled the Picnic Position Blanket – a unique treat for everyone that loves burgers but hates getting up from a comfy blanket in the park. All you need to do is find your picnic spot and scan the QR code on the blanket. Your picnic position is then registered and deep linked to the delivery service you choose – so you’ll always get your burgers from the McDonald’s restaurant closest to you, freshly prepared with minimum waiting time. The blankets are produced in a limited edition release and can be won on McDonald’s Sweden’s social media channels.


Sofie Lager, marketing manager, McDonald’s Sweden says: "We love to surprise our guests with new, innovative solutions that make it easier for them to enjoy our food. We have already seen McDelivery’s success since its launch about a year ago, and now we want to give everyone out enjoying the summer the possibility to get their Big Mac or Happy Meal straight to the picnic blanket. Without moving an inch."
