Comedy Central has launched a new range of channel idents working in partnership with production and content agency, Engine.
Working
to the brief of "Amuse Yourself", the new idents will be rolled out
across Australia and New Zealand, both on the channel and across Comedy
Central's online and social channels.
Says Robert Connelly, ECD,
Engine: "Comedy Central's position of 'Amuse yourself' was the perfect
creative starting point to jump off from. The team loved exploring the
personal side of what people do day- to-day to amuse themselves, and in a
rather dark and unexpected way."
VIEW THE IDENTS
The Engine team used a simple hand-drawn graphic technique to illustrate
the concept, allowing each unique character in the series to take
centre stage, while maintaining the sense of an overarching shared
creative space.
