The move from the agency brings media and creative closer together

Today, Droga5 announced the addition of media planning expertise to help clients maximise their creatively-led efforts. The new discipline is an expansion of the existing Communications Strategy department and will provide a more holistic approach to strategic planning. With this offering, clients can now expect the full execution of communications ideas that create impact in both content and context. 

“While it made sense to separate creative and media in the past to get the most value out of the media buys, the media landscape is much more fragmented now and there is undeniable value in rebundling creative and media” said Colleen Leddy, Head of Communications Strategy at Droga5. “Designing ideas around where our audience is and how they are using specific channels versus thinking about channels on the back-end of the process is key to designing both better creative ideas and better media plans.”

Droga5 provides its media strategy and planning capability to several clients from across industries, including publishing, financial services, gaming and packaged goods.
