Director Jesse Hunt has joined Splendors for commercial representation in the United States.
Jesse's portfolio includes work for brands McDonald's, Chevy, Google, Home Depot, and Staedtler. With a decade of advertising and agency experience under his belt and the recent launch of Campsite, a production collective in Toronto, Jesse is well adept at considering the needs of each campaign in a quickly changing commercial landscape.
Jason Lewis, managing partner and executive producer, said, “Jesse’s work consistently strikes a balance between uplifting and grounding. His storytelling almost makes you feel as though you’re a fly on the wall, observing these very real characters. The performances he gets feel so true to life you almost forget you’re watching a commercial. His shooting stills, and when needed, returning to his roots as a Dir/DP, makes him a triple threat… no doubt he is going to be on the go-to list for many agencies and brands here in the US right now.”
Outside of his work in advertising, Jesse stays busy shooting narrative projects such as 'Meet Me At The Stairs', a film he shot while in isolation at the beginning of the pandemic that garnered accolades like a Young Director Award nomination, a Vimeo Staff Pick and premiered at the Brooklyn Film Festival.
Jesse said the following regarding the new signing, "I'm excited to be a part of the Splendors roster. Their dedication to pushing creative boundaries aligns perfectly with my artistic vision. Together, I believe we can create commercials that deeply resonate with audiences."
