Street artist Zina and a Tough Mudder provide the action in latest spots

Continuing the series of films for Shortlist and Sony Xperia, Mikey Trotter shot an adrenalin filled film at Scotland’s Tough Mudder, whilst Jen Fearnley shot talented street artist Zina, right on Dingo Bill’s doorstep in Shoreditch.

Of her film Jen says: “Creating a film about street artist Zina was a genuinely inspiring experience. Documenting the incredible UV mural she painted over two days and seeing her finished piece glow luminously at night really captured the spirit of the ‘I can see in the dark’ campaign”

Mike was equally enthused by his film’s impact and the Sony phone: “Tough Mudder was such fun to film. I've never been to one before and was actually really jealous to not be taking part. Watching the journalist go through all the obstacles, get caked in mud and fling himself into pools of water was amazing to watch. I was really impressed by the tech, which stood up to the beating. It was interesting to combine visual story telling with written journalism as well as the Sony phones. It was a really great project to be part of.

Both films featured alongside advertorials in ShortList magazine and were fully supported by advertising throughout both ShortList and Stylist online.

Oliver Warren says “Working with the ShortList and Stylist teams has been fantastic. The chance to bring high-quality digital film counterparts to their respected print advertorials is truly exciting.   Putting the Xperia brand into the hands of Europe-wide news publications has produced some brilliant work, and so we’re very proud to be a part of this innovative Sony campaign”.
