Digital Cinema Media (DCM) has announced new senior
appointments to its sales team with the addition of Louise Youll, Business
Director, and Antonio Garcia, Client Director, as well as a promotion for
Jeremy Kolesar (Head of Innovation) to Creative Business Director. All will
report to DCM’s Sales Director, Davina Barker.
Louise Youll joins DCM as Business Director for
Aegis moving from media agency MEC. Having worked in the media industry
for nine years, Youll has gained experience across a varied set of advertisers
building strong relationships with owners as well as clients. As Head of Cinema
at MEC, Youll worked to increase cinema spend across the agency and realised
her passion for the medium leading to her new role at DCM.
She said of the appointment: “I am
extremely passionate about the role of cinema and my tenacity has resulted in
me persuading some of my most senior clients to increase cinema spend, as well
as raising the profile of the cinema team within the agency. I can’t wait to
get started at DCM to continue that success.”
Antonio Garcia joins DCM from Global - The Media and
Entertainment Group.
As Entertainment Group Head and former Head of Film & Game at Global Media
& Entertainment, he has worked across a broad portfolio of entertainment
advertisers. He joins DCM to become Client Director and will work to win new
business and engage existing clients.
Garcia said of the appointment: "Joining DCM is the
next exciting step for me and I’m looking forward to a new challenge in the cinema
sector. With a wealth of experience behind me, I’m excited to apply my skills
and knowledge to the most engaging space in media today.”
Jeremy Kolesar has been DCM’s Head of Innovation
since 2014 and previously worked on creative solutions and sponsorships for the
company since joining in 2009. His previous experience before DCM was with NBC
Universal. He
will become DCM’s Creative Business Director.
Kolesar said of promotion: “The role of cinema has changed in the years
I’ve been at DCM, but the power of the big screen to showcase great creative
content and shared experiences for brands is more impactful than ever. My role
has evolved to push the boundaries of what’s possible on the big screen and to
work with our creative partners to deliver the best executions in the cinema
space and ensure we give our medium the exposure it deserves.”
Davina Barker, DCM’s Sales Director, said of the changes: “We are
constantly evolving our sales strategy here at DCM and these latest additions
to the team reflect our commitment to continue growth into the second half of
2016. Jeremy’s promotion further supports the exciting new talent we’ve
acquired and he will continue to be at the heart of sales operations and new innovations
at DCM.”
