The business is expected to see 115% growth year on year in 2017

Today sees ContentCal, the content platform responsible for powering hundreds of companies’ social media marketing, begin preparations for innovative new features and a Series A in late 2017, following a recent round of funding closing at £400,000.

The business is expected to see 115% growth year on year in 2017.

Launched in beta in 2016, ContentCal is a social media and content planning tool on a mission to help raise the standard of creative content. The platform provides a fresh and visual way to create, approve and publish content, across all key social media channels.

In 2016, ContentCal took part in a London-based accelerator scheme, ‘The Accelerator Academy’ which resulted in further interest in the product: investors include current Chairman, Colin Smith, who has had two successful technology exits and is a mentor at the Accelerator Academy.

Having received £400,000 additional funding, ContentCal celebrates a merge with sister agency ASTP, expanded investment in its product development capabilities and a re-launch as a new CaaS (Content as a Service) business.

Alex Packham, CEO of ContentCal commented: “We recognise that quality content takes time and planning. Having worked with large corporates, SMEs and agencies over the past few years, we’ve seen a huge increase in the need for cost effective content creation and distribution in organisations. ContentCal has been developed to provide those efficiencies, and now we are perfectly placed to help as many companies as possible streamline their content creation and publishing efforts.”

The next few months commence a marketing and sales drive for the content platform. CEO, Alex Packham will be speaking at the B2B Marketing EXPO on the 28th March 2017 at London’s ExCeL Centre. ContentCal will be exhibiting at stand no B842.
