Adelphoi's Jeremy Newton collaborates on new podcast hosted by Gabby Edlin

Bloody Good Period, the charitable organisation supplying asylum seekers and refugees with menstrual products, is inviting men to 'Stay In The Room' and talk about periods.

Inspired by the fact that boys are so often asked to leave the room when girls are taught about menstruation at school, CEO and founder Gabby Edlin decided to create a space which encourages and celebrates period chat amongst men.

'Stay In The Room' is hosted by BGP’s Gabby Edlin, production designer, Bobbie Cousins, and produced and edited by Jeremy Newton, music supervisor at Adelphoi Music. Guests include comedian Dane Baptiste, actor and one half of Rizzle Kicks, Jordan Stephens, with plenty more to come.

You can listen to the first two episodes here.

Gabby says: “By assuming that men don’t care about menstruation, we’re assuming they don’t have empathy, and that they don’t care about and learn from the women and people who menstruate in their lives, and personal experience has shown me that this is simply not true.”

Stay In The Room is recorded at Adelphoi Music studios. The graphics are created by A Studio of Our Own.
