Bill Borrows Joins Dirt & Glory as Senior Editorial Director

Dirt & Glory Media has announced the appointment of Bill Borrows as Senior Editorial Director.

Bill is one of the most gifted and versatile journalists of his generation and has worked for everybody from Loaded to The Guardian and the Sunday Times and Cosmopolitan to Vogues Hommes International as well as several other national and international publications. He has contributed columns to Esquire, the Daily Mirror and Sunday Telegraph.

He launched and edited Time Out Manchester and the talkSPORT e-Magazine and developed and edited a new daily newspaper (The Age) to full-printed dummy for Trinity Mirror. He currently writes for Telegraph Men, the Mail on Sunday and the Daily Mirror as well as being a regular on talkSPORT. He is also an acclaimed author.

“It takes a lot to get me into an office but the chance to work with a  young dynamic and growing agency like Dirt & Glory is too good an opportunity to pass up. Their love of editorial and storytelling is both refreshing and inspiring. I think we’re going to have a lot of fun," said Borrows.

Dirt & Glory Founder and Managing Director Nigel Brown believes the hire is a defining step for the two-year-old agency in their pursuit of editorial excellence: “Bill is quite simply one of the best storytellers on the planet. He has interviewed everyone from Calvin Klein to Lemmy and Hunter.S.Thompson to Tony Curtis. From Jake LaMotta to John Inman.  I can’t wait to see him bring his experience and journalistic craft across all our work. We are the editorial agency offering a purist’s approach to storytelling. With Bill overseeing all our editorial we look forward to going from strength-to-strength."
