BBC's Bleak Midwinter Promo for Sochi Olympics

The BBC is pitting humanity against the wilderness in their new trailer for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. ‘Nature’, from RKCR/Y&R and directed by Stink’s Tomek Baginski takes place in a bleak and challenging mountain landscape – a noticeable change of tone compared to the agency’s previous work for the BBC’s Olympic coverage. It may be months until the new series of Game of Thrones but, with its epic vistas and foreboding, wintery skies, the trailer gives some welcome respite to those desperate for a bit of North-of-the-Wall action. 

The promo premiered on Sunday night on the BBC ahead of the latest episode of Sherlock.
