The crop science division of Bayer - one of New
Zealand's leading provider of crop protection products and solutions -
has announced Colenso BBDO as its creative and strategic partner.
The
appointment comes following a competitive pitch for the business in New
Zealand, as Bayer look to unify its approach. They've consolidated the
business into the Clemenger Group. Redhanded - the rural specialist
communications agency - picked up the same business in Australia in
September this year.
Edwin Rozells, head of CX and transformation, talks briefly about
the thinking behind the work and the company's excitement to work with
Bayer.
Says Rozells: "Great experiences lead to great outcomes.
We are excited to partner with Bayer to design the future for their
customers. Our Problem Design process has already uncovered a number of
possibilities for how their customers could be engaging with the brand,
and how we can help them transform their operations internally to enable
them. We cannot wait to start working on them to grow the Crop Science
brand and business in NZ."
Says Paul Courtney, chief operating
officer at Colenso: "It was fantastic to work with a client that
understands the importance of creativity in the age of the customer; it
enabled us to work with them on designing all the deliverables that will
help change their NZ business."
Says Scott Hanson, country
manager at Bayer New Zealand: "Pitching with Colenso was refreshing. We
know that they will push us creatively, get us into a new space, and
encourage us to ask new questions."
