Awkward Christmas Elves Front Bulldog's First Ad from adam&eveDDB

Bulldog Skincare For Men are taking their first big step into advertising with a Christmas campaign by adam&eveDDB. Taking a stand against the unrealistic ideals of masculinity that other skincare brands perpetuate, Bulldog are celebrating the reality of male behaviour. With proof that men are uncomfortable when it comes to sharing Christmas gifts, Bulldog are celebrating the awkwardness that occurs on such rare occasions.

‘Awkward Elves’ revels in the uncomfortable reality of man-to-man gifting (or the apparent lack of) during the festive season. Directed by Tim Godsall of OPC and Somesuch, ‘Awkward Elves’ is the cringingly comical story of a male elf breaking the mould to give his male best elf friend a human-sized Bulldog skincare gift.

Simon Duffy, founder of Bulldog Skincare For Men, says; “Bulldog has always done things a little differently and our first Christmas campaign shares that spirit. Made specifically for men, Bulldog is challenging skincare norms with a simpler, more playful and honest approach that comes from a developed understanding of male behaviour. We hope a gift from Bulldog will help men avoid any trace of awkwardness this Christmas.”

‘Awkward Elves’ launches online on the 25th of November and on television on the 1st of December.
