Angell Sound Delivers Some Christmas Comedy for the Post Office
Nick Angell has been busy of late bringing his talents to a number of
Christmas campaigns. A stand out commercial from this year’s offerings is the
latest film for the Post Office.
Hotspur and Argyle’s famed comedy Director, David Kerr has bought these
quirky films to life.
Starring comedy Actor Robert Webb as the Minister of Christmas, along
with his delightful and identically dressed Dachshund. Webb bounds around a
Post Office store highlighting all of this year’s additional services and
reduced costs for sending on your parcels.
On his way he greets some famous faces like star of Downton Abbey, Jim
Carter and Popstar, Pixie Lott. The message of this Christmas extravaganza is
to make Christmas ‘festive not stresstive’ ending with the line strapline ‘Get
Christmas all wrapped up’.
Webb’s ability to perform whilst including so much dialogue is quite
outstanding. He presents the multitude of offers and services with such speed
and clarity, creating not just a fun commercial, but an informed one too.
As the various versions roll out they shall no doubt be amongst this year’s most favoured Christmas commercials.
