AIHA Wins Gold and Platinum at the AVA Digital Awards
The American Industrial Hygiene Association will receive two AVA Digital Awards through the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals for its IH Professional Pathway program. The program won Gold in the animation category and Platinum in the category for digital marketing campaigns.
The IH Professional Pathway program is a comprehensive member outreach and public awareness program that was developed and launched by AIHA in 2016. AIHA collaborated on this project with exceptional artists and designers, including Fifth Story Productions, Klaus Scherwinski, Luisa J. Preissler, and Simeon Cogswell. These honours provide international exposure that will allow AIHA to expand the IH Professional Pathway program and its outreach efforts to an even greater number of potential industrial hygiene students.
The AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognises outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. The AVA Digital Awards is administered and judged by AMCP, an international organisation of several thousand production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, and free-lance professionals. AMCP administers recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the marketing and communications professions.
“We are very proud of the IH Professional Pathway program’s success thus far,” said AIHA Marketing Manager Ben H. Rome, who had a large role in the development of the multi-faceted outreach program. “Through this exposure, we can expand our reach in promoting the field of industrial hygiene and the critical role these professionals have in keeping workers safe.”
“The Association is also extremely proud of the artists and designers who helped give our vision life and colour,” Rome continued. “They did a fantastic job in showcasing various aspects of the industrial hygiene profession.”
