The leaders from creative production studio Flavor have announced the addition of Christina d'Orthez to their Chicago staff in the position of producer. The announcement was made by executive producer Neal Cohen.
Having lived in six major cities across three continents, d'Orthez has built up an international repertoire encompassing all things visual. After earning two degrees in film, she began her career as an editor, then quickly rose as a 3D and VFX artist, art director and designer in South Africa's Cape Town and beyond, contributing her talents to high-profile commercial projects for some of the world's largest brands. As an in-demand freelance artist over the years, d'Orthez has also held staff positions with Cape Town's Ensemble Post, and in Chicago, Pipe Dreams Productions, Rip Media Group, and InContext Solutions. She first connected with Flavor as a freelance producer in September, 2015.
"Christina has a unique background for a post-production producer, as she has a lot of hands-on experience as a 3D and VFX artist," Cohen began. "She can discuss jobs from every angle with everyone on our team, with deep understanding of the challenges they're facing. We are very lucky to have found someone with this skillset and background; she's a great addition to Flavor, and for our clients."
"I was first attracted to Flavor's incredible design, 3D, color and finish department," d'Orthez said. "The work coming out of the studio is awe-inspiring and very well executed. The team produces a high standard of work for numerous large and exciting brands, and our creative execution never fails to amaze me. It is wonderful it be part of the Flavor family."
