24th Golden Drum Festival Will Open Its Doors Tomorrow

Communication and advertising professionals from all over the world will gather from 18 until 20 October in Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana for the 24th International Festival of Creativity Golden Drum. More than 1000 creative works from 27 different countries are competing for the prestigious awards and 30 experts will have their speech at the Golden Drum’s podium. Besides the rich congress program delegates will have great networking opportunities. On Friday night all eyes will turn to the winners of this year’s festival.

We are delighted that the participants of the festival, speakers and jurors will help us leaving our mark and co-create a new story with us,” says Mojca Briščik, President of the Golden Drum Festival and Executive Director of the Slovenian Advertising Chamber.

From 9am onwards the delegates will have the opportunity to see the screening of submitted entries, competing for the prestigious festival awards. The congress program will start at 1 p.m. with the opening speech of Adrian Botan, McCann, United Kingdom. On Friday, participants will be able to listen to the president of the Best Piece Competition Jury section Bruno Bertelli, Publicis Worldwide, Italy, who will talk about a passion romance between advertising and music. Many other speakers will leave their mark on the Golden Drum stage, including Carla Cammilla Hjort, Space10, Denmark, Marco Cremona, Google, United Kingdom, Christian Flodén, Spotify, Sweden, Tjaša Ficko, City of Ljubljana, Slovenia, Daria Ovechkina and Anton Rozhin, Voskhod, Russia.

The Festival will be accompanied by lively social events, starting with Golden Drum Opening Reception on Wednesday night at 9 p.m. The highlight of the festival will be the gala event on Friday night, where we will meet the Golden Drum winners and end the 24th Golden Drum Festival with closing party.
