RVK Studiosis owned by Baltasar Kormakurwho started his career in Iceland directing and producing films; 101 Reykjavik, Little Trip to Heaven, Jar City and The Deep. Recently Baltasar directed, produced, co-scripted and played the leading role in the film 'The Oath'. 

Baltasar's blockbuster film, Everest grossed over $200 Millions worldwide and his two previous projects 2 Guns and Contraband both topped the US box office and grossed over $225 Millions worldwide combined. His latest feature 
Adrift with Shailene Woodley is being release worldwide the summer 2018

Producers from all over the world take advantage of our high production value and low cost options by shooting in Reykjavik, Iceland.  Reykjavik Studios offer a 34,444 ft² / 3,200 m² space comprising studios with highest point 52ft / 16m,  dressing rooms, a make-up room, wardrobe room, casting suites, open-plan production spaces, private offices, meeting rooms, sun-decks, cafeteria, and parking space for tens of vehicles. The studio is located within 12 minutes drive from downtown Reykjavik.

Iceland has become an attractive option for filming, offering a wide variety of breathtaking locations along with experienced crews and production friendly infrastructure, with 25% reimbursement of costs incurred in the production of films and television programmes.
