A very astute reporter once asked this question: What is the difference between London International Awards and the other creative shows?
There is no easy, one-word answer.
But at the beginning of every judging session the jury members, comprising top creative people from around the world, are told: This is THEIR show. It is about their work. They have a higher vested interest. So they not only determine what deserves recognition but how the work should be judged. No compromise, no favour.
And because this is THEIR Show, we constantly keep our finger on the pulse of creative trends and changes. We keep up dialogues with much-respected people in the creative fraternity. All year round. This way we can adapt our Show to the changing landscape of creativity.
On our part, we honour and celebrate creative excellence and innovation.
We have been doing so for the past twenty-three years.
All those years of experience have taught us that new categories and media are emerging all the time. While we currently honour the best work in Print, Poster & Outdoor, Radio, Television/Cinema, Design, Package Design, Non-Traditional Media, Digital Media and Integrated Media, we are always open to suggestions from creative people about category changes and the inclusion of new and novel media.
One thing remains constant, though. It is the value of being awarded a Statue at the London International Awards. After all these years, as the judges will tell you, it is still worth its weight in Gold.
