Juliet is an independent creative agency founded in 2017 by Ryan Spelliscy, Sarah Stringer, and Denise Cole. The agency’s experience not only runs deep in Canada but also you won’t find an independent agency in this country with more US experience. Denise worked in San Francisco as an Art Director helping global brands find their voice. Ryan also spent time in California before being named the Chief Creative Officer of JWT Canada at the age of 36. Sarah called BBH New York home for nearly ten years before heading up consumer insights at the consulting firm Jackman Reinvents Toronto. New York-based Susan Holden is Juliet’s Chief Financial Officer. She’s a two‐time Emmy nominee and former member of the Hillary for America Finance Committee.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Gone are the days of hammering dull messages into captive television audiences’ minds. The jig is up on banner ads, and the most viewed part of a pre-roll ad is almost always the countdown clock. Traditional canvases are vanishing left, right and center. But far too many agencies, and marketers, are still marching to the beat of the old drum.
Juliet exists to set the old drum on fire. We exist to tell more interesting stories in more interesting places, to help brands find ways to add real value to people’s lives, and to recognize that context is now as important as creativity itself. It’s why we’re made up of a unique combination of people from creative, media, consulting, and art who all share one key trait: The will to chase what could be. Even if it kills us.
