Every 8 minutes, a species vanishes from the world, according to the UN Environment Program. We wanted to create awareness and get Chinese authorities to take stronger action on critically endangered species. The illegal wildlife trade is a big part of this problem. Animals like tigers, rhinos and elephants are at the brink of extinction, fueled by demand in China. We created "8-minute animals ... A Chinese artist painted endangered animals on special posters, using water, which evaporates after about 8 minutes. Then he repaints them again throughout the day.
