PS260 introduces a one-of-a-kind board game called “Runners Quest,” which is based on the daily routine of a Runner at the company. The game is set up to resemble the company’s New York office with the objective of accomplishing a multitude of tasks given to a Runner in the hopes of leveling up from Runner to Assistant Editor. Created by PS260’s Drew Lang and Chris Nicastro, who were recently promoted from Runners to Assistant Editors this month, “Runners Quest” is a humorous way to take players through a Runner’s day-to-day, giving them tasks or challenges that will help them become Assistant Editors.
The game is designed for Runners at PS260 and others at other like-minded companies, as well as Senior Editors who can relate to the day-to-day that Runners endure. The game has a similar layout to the popular board game Clue, and the Chance and Objective cards players draw would operate in a risk/reward system similar to that in Chutes and Ladders. This game serves as a perfect example and testament to how PS260 loves fostering their team's creativity and ideas.
