Pentland Brands - A World-Class Shopping Experience

We helped Pentland Brands to devise and implement a solution that would enable a world-class shopping experience across brands, across channels and across markets. THE RESULTS - After a seven-month project, Pentland Brands’ system went live with six sites for the Speedo and Berghaus brands in August 2014. The solution provided a 15% increase in sales, a 32% increase in conversion rates, increased traffic, and a significant rise in customer satisfaction. THE CHALLENGE - Transforming Business Pentland Brands recognised the opportunity to grow their online business by expanding into new markets and tying together their channels to deliver an omni-channel experience, but they were encumbered by back office systems that made realising that opportunity challenging from both a cost and flexibility. THE SOLUTION - An International-ready digital platform. We rapid delivered a robust SaaS commerce, fully-integrated solution, which included an international-ready commerce platform leveraging leading digital commerce solution Demandware (now known as Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and OrderDynamics’ retail order management system (OMS). These solutions were then tightly knitted to Pentland Group’s existing SAP ERP system. The team also provided a 24/7 support service and site monitoring, and took full responsibility for platform updates and upgrades, managing third-party vendors and peak planning.
