Face Pinball is the first (and definitely funniest) iPhone X only game on the App store and the latest in a series of experiments by our Interactive Arts Team designed to create fun and engaging experiences harnessing emerging tech. Utilising the face tracking technology embedded on the iPhone X front facing camera, Face Pinball allows you play pinball using…your face. The team found a good route to connect iPhone X face tracking data (and the range within expression from winks to subtle smirks) into a good gameplay mechanic and the result is being able to use your facial expressions and movements to play pinball!
