How do you make the Castrol brand relevant to vehicle owners? By creating a service design solution that uses real-time telemetry data to predict the appropriate timing for regular service appointments as well as identifying adhoc maintenance issues. The connected car solution combines mobile and Internet of Things technologies to position Castrol as a partner who can help with all aspects of the driving experience. If and when required the service connects users to a network of approved workshops, enabling appointment bookings based on price, location, capability and customer reviews.
