HMV - Home of Vinyl promo video

There is nothing like listening to a favourite track when it’s played on a record player. Recently this format has seen a huge and well-deserved revival. Established as the UK’s largest vinyl retailer, hmv has been selling records since 1921. Bolder Creative was thrilled to partner with HMV once again on this new spot highlighting the brands deep association with the vinyl format. For ‘the home of vinyl since 1921’ Bolder Creative have devised an ad which was built from a combination of live action footage and CGI elements. The live footage was shot at the Vinyl Factory in London, showing key elements of the pressing & manufacturing process. Alongside this they created bespoke 3D animations to highlight the format’s unique form and beauty and further explain the manufacturing process that is hidden within the machines. The final result is a real celebration of vinyl and is now airing on independent cinema screens across the country.
