Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai is appointed by IKEA as its lead creative agency following a multi-agency pitch. 

Over the next two years, the agency will take on a variety of creative work including national integrated campaigns, store opening campaigns, as well as digital, social and retail communications.

Best known for provocative creative ideas and iconic storytelling, W+K is dedicated to elevating the brand excellence through a deep understanding of the values and aspirations of the Chinese market.

Lukasz Ostrowski, marketing director of IKEA, commented: “We have high hopes for working with W+K Shanghai to build our unique brand, draw in a new generation of customers to find the love in everyday lives and drive growth in a new and existing market.”
