Challenger agency VCCP Sydney has promoted group
account director, Kim Bush-Ellis (pictured third from left), to the
newly created role of client service director. The promotion, announced
today, comes on the back of a continued run of new business wins over
the past 12 months for the Surry Hills agency; including HiPages,
Laureate International Universities, Fruits & Roots, Luxottica,
Brabham Automotive and Cancer Council Australia.
Bush-Ellis began
her career at Ogilvy in Cape Town, before moving to CHI & Partners
in the UK where she led the re-positioning of British Gas and Talk
Talk's highly successful X Factor campaign. She joined VCCP in 2016.
VCCP Sydney CEO Andrew Holt says the new role is well-deserved and an important step in the agency's evolution.
Says Holt: "As a challenger agency, we want to help our clients
transform their fortunes by disrupting their categories and Kim lives
and breathes this challenger spirit; she is loved by her clients,
collaborative with our partners and tenacious with our work.
"Kim epitomizes our culture and
that's so important to us. We are lucky to have her and excited to
unleash her talents across the wider agency."
Says Bush-Ellis:
"I'm incredibly excited about the opportunity to take on a more
prominent role in the agency as we grow from a start-up to an up-start
agency. I'm passionate about nurturing our culture, and will be
focussing on our development and expansion to make sure it's not only
one of the best places to work, but one of the best agencies to work
with."
