Ueno Hires Producer Jessica Volodarsky

Digital agency Ueno has hired Jessica Volodarsky as producer, CEO Haraldur (Halli) Thorleifsson announced today. She will report to Senior Producer Kyle Caruso and work at the studio’s San Francisco office.

Volodarsky describes herself as an integrated, hands-on producer who leads a project through every creative phase. “I do my best work when I’m part of an interdisciplinary team made up of designers, developers, strategists, and weirdos chock full of passion and humor,” she says.

Renaissance woman Volodarsky comes to Ueno from crosstown agency Teak, where she spent two years serving first as project manager and then as creative producer. However, her job description is a wee bit wider than those titles.

For client JanSport, for instance, Volodarsky flew to Sydney to chronicle Live Outside—a week-long mural project featuring three artists—and used the content to create a global campaign that told the story across JanSport’s website and social media properties.

As the project’s sole producer and project manager, she helmed every aspect of Live Outside from concept to creation. She was the art director and social media manager. She edited 100 hours of footage down to create videos, a mini-doc, 360º experiences, a landing page, photos and gifs. She also wrote all the copy for JanSport’s media assets.
