True Achieves IPA CPD Gold Accreditation

Digital agency True has achieved the IPA CPD Gold Accreditation, being one of 15 agencies collecting gold for the first time  out of a total of 39 CPD Gold agencies UK wide. The IPA’s CPD Gold Accreditation scheme recognises and rewards agencies who demonstrate a genuine culture of learning, bettering the professionalism, development and reputation of the industry, enhancing clients’ brands and agencies’ worth as a result.

Back in 2017, True launched a new initiative to put a greater emphasis on learning and development through the whole agency. Nobody ever learned anything by being bored, so making career progression fun was fundamental to the approach. Thus, the agency took everyone back to some of the best times of their lives – their student years – and invented Truniversity.

Thanks to the branding prowess of True’s creative team, Truniversity has its own distinct identity in a wise monkey icon, and a tongue in cheek motto – Laughicus Learniam (I am laughing because I am learning).

The agency got off to a cracking start with Freshers’ Week ‘17, and built on its momentum throughout 2018. Freshers’ Week 2018 was a chance to re-energise and refocus, and True will embark on its third year of learning with another Freshers’ Week in September 2019.

Weekly highlights of the Truni timetable include Ted Talks Tuesdays, Lunch and Learn Thursdays, and all-agency thinking sessions to support client action plans. The agency runs general and specialist skill-based learning, all supported by workshops, seminars, tutorials and lectures run by True experts, partners and invited guests.

Most importantly, it gives everyone in Team True a powerful platform to gain new skills, progress their career and enjoy the support, inspiration and motivation they need to achieve their goals. The agency is determined to become THE agency to work with and for - in Bristol and beyond.
