TMW Unlimited Promotes Dan Bowers to CSO

Dan Bowers has been promoted to the newly created role of chief strategy officer at TMW Unlimited. He will head up the agency’s department of 30 strategists that offer fully integrated thinking across creative and content, CRM, digital, search social and influencer. All of this is underpinned by smart data planning, analytics and technology.

Previously head of planning, Dan will report to COO, Alex Burley, and will lead TMW’s continued focus on strategic integration across accounts including HSBC, LNER, Vodafone and The Department of International Trade. He takes over the lead strategy role from outgoing director of strategy, Kate Wheaton, who leaves the agency in September.

Prior to joining TMW in 2016, Dan was previously head of planning at digital agency Weapon7. More recently, he was a strategy director at OMD working on the Disney account across EMEA. Prior to that, he was a lead planner on the O2 account at VCCP, during the award-winning ‘Be More Dog’ campaign.
